Watch Australia’s superstar Bonnie Anderson deliver a knockout performance of her hit single “Blackout”, at this season’s premier fashion event, Fashion Connect Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW) 2014 – The ultimate “Fashion Night Out”.

OC Communications & Events is so excited to announce Australian pop sensation, Bonnie Anderson as the headline act for Fashion Connect Melbourne Spring Fashion Weeek (MSFW) 2014. The highly-anticipated event kicks off from 6.30pm with a selection of complementary beverages and canapés served from 7.00-8.00pm. The event will be staged at the lavish Spice Market Melbourne, on Thursday, Sept 4.

The 19 year old climbing the ARIA charts will perform her hit single “Blackout” live including a mix of her songs with Henry Mukhwana, better known as DJ Skillz.

With over 150 gigs, her debut single “Raise The Bar” and a recent Australian tour with UK superstar Olly Murs under her belt, Bonnie Anderson is ready for the next phase in her ever-evolving career and “Blackout” is the perfect catalyst.

“BLACKOUT” was borne out of a collaboration between Bonnie Anderson and renowned producer and songwriter Johnny Powers and Eric Sanicola (RedOne Productions), during a writing trip to Los Angeles earlier this year.

As Bonnie recalls, “BLACKOUT” came from a conversation we were having about boys…hot boys! It is about a desperate desire and wanting something so badly and so passionately, you just have to have it now! The ‘blackout’ is that intense secret moment between you and that person, and nothing else matters.”

From then it snowballed into a pulsing, intense pop smash about acting on your strongest desires. As Bonnie explains, “BLACKOUT” is something different to what people have heard from me before; it definitely showcases more of the risktaking and passionate side to my personality.”

The incredible video for “BLACKOUT” was shot by ARIA Award winning director Christopher Frey, and provides a deeper insight in to Bonnie’s evolving personality and risqué style.

“BLACKOUT” was the most added track to radio in its first week of service, reached #18 on the national Airplay Chartand #8 on the Shazam Chart.
